Matt Cologna
Matt Cologna, SIOR, Senior Vice President, has been with Grubb & Ellis since 1997 after graduating from Sacramento State in 1994 and working in sales and operations management for The Sleep Train for seven years.

Matt covers a wide range of fields including Landlord and Tenant representation, land assemblage, user and investments sales and consulting.

Matt stays involved in the community. He has served as President of the Board of Sierra Child and Family Services, a non-profit geared towards helping abused and at risk children. Additionally, he is past president of the business alumni chapter, a member of the College of Business Advisory Committee, a member of the Presidents Circle and a board member for the Alumni Chapter of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity all at Sacramento State. He received the 2009 Almunus of the Year award from the College of Business Administration at Sacramento State University.

Bryce MacDonald
Bryce MacDonald, a Senior Associate with Grubb & Ellis Company since January 2004, concentrates on Landlord and Tenant representation and Owner/User sales in the Sacramento & Stockton markets. He has completed more than 200 sale and lease transactions for industrial and commercial properties.

Currently, Bryce is involved with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Sacramento as well as the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Dave Hornbeck
Dave Hornbeck, LEED AP is a LEED Accredited Professional and recently graduated (May 2008) from Sacramento State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with concentration in Real Estate and Land Use Affairs. He also brings with him experience and skills having served 10 years in the U.S. Marine Corps. Dave is the newest member of the team and is assisting in all aspects of our transactions as well as assisting clients with information on the sustainable building industry.



Amy Ruiz
Amy Ruiz is the Marketing Assistant for the team. 1998 was the year Amy began her career in marketing roles for commercial real estate. She is proud to be a eighth generation Californian. Joining Grubb & Ellis in 2007, Amy's creativity and strong work ethic ensure a job well done. Amy handles marketing, administration, project management and research tasks for the team.
